Ramblings

I don't know if it's just me or if it runs in the family, but every time I get home from a trip, something breaks. Last time it was a lavatory faucet, today it's the toilet. ARGHHHH!!! I've never had to maintain a house by myself and am finding that it's a real pain. I have a hundred things to do before I leave again Friday for my grandson's first birthday party and the little thingy inside the toilet tank that makes it flush broke all to pieces. Mind you I have one son who lives with me and one who is about 5 minutes away. The one who lives with me is more likely to make it worse and the other is out of town on business. Houses really put a crimp in your travel funds, don't they?

As soon as I figure out how, I have some pictures from Suzan's and my Florida trip I want to post, too, but first I have to get dressed and go buy toilet parts although I'm betting I end up calling the plumber. I'm beginning to think I should just call him from the road and have him meet me at the house when I get home to see what else has gone wrong.

Test

OK, so my sister convinced me to give journaling a shot. Right now I'm just trying to set the thing up, and I'm not too sure how much I'm going to like my chosen layout...just a test. The first layout was WAY too colorful. I think this one looks okay, but can you change the font? It's yucky. Took forever figuring out how to make my userpic small enough. Surely there's an easier way than resizing in photoshop?
